Meet Jordan Mast – Co-Founder of RJ Pet Services 🐾

Hi! I’m Jordan Mast, co-founder of R&J Pet Services and a lifelong animal lover. I hold a BA from Ithaca College and have spent the past three years immersed in professional animal care — including hands-on experience at both Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter and American Animal Hospital. There, I cared for dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments, assisted veterinarians with treatments and medications, and learned what it truly means to support pets in all stages of health and happiness.

Alongside my clinical experience, I’ve provided trusted in-home pet sitting, dog walking, and house sitting services for over two years. Whether it’s a weekend getaway or a longer trip, I treat every home and every pet with the same attention, responsibility, and affection I’d give my own.

Growing up with two amazing dogs, I know how important it is to have someone reliable and compassionate when you’re away. That’s the heart behind our services — providing the kind of care that gives both you and your pets peace of mind.

Meet Richard Pettersen – Co-Founder of R&J Pet Services 🐾

Richard Pettersen is the other half of R&J Pet Services and someone you can count on for calm, dependable care. With extensive experience working closely with dogs of all breeds and personalities, Richard brings a natural ease and attentiveness to every pet he cares for. He has provided house-sitting services across multiple homes and is known for being clean, organized, and respectful of every space he's welcomed into.

What sets Richard apart is his quiet dedication — he treats every pet like his own, because he knows what that love feels like. As a proud dog parent himself, he understands the importance of trust when it comes to letting someone into your home and into your pet’s daily life.
